CDuo Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026.
Operator: Jozsef Ritter
Privacy contact: rittermediagroup@icloud.com

Scope

This policy covers the CDuo iPhone and iPad app. It does not replace the Apollo Accessories website privacy policy. Visiting this Shopify-hosted page is subject to the website’s separate privacy and cookie practices.

Music access

With your permission, CDuo uses Apple’s MusicKit framework to read album and track information from your Apple Music library, display artwork and metadata, and play music. Apple manages your Apple Music account, subscription, authorization, streaming, and related service data under Apple’s policies. CDuo does not ask for or receive your Apple Account password.

Data handled by the app

CDuo uses album information, playback state, and browsing position to operate the player. The current app has no developer-operated backend, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or tracking SDK. It does not send your music library or listening history to a CDuo-operated server. Browsing state is held in memory. Apple’s frameworks may maintain their own caches and service records.

Support correspondence

If you contact support by email, Jozsef Ritter receives your email address and the information you include, and uses it to respond to your request. The public support address is hosted by Apple iCloud Mail.

Support correspondence is used only to help users and is deleted within 12 months after the request is resolved. It is not used for marketing.

Apple services and diagnostics

Apple handles data for Apple Music, the App Store, and TestFlight under its own policies. See Apple’s privacy information.

Jozsef Ritter may view crash reports, TestFlight feedback, and app-usage statistics made available by Apple solely to fix bugs and improve CDuo. These reports are viewed within Apple’s tools and are not downloaded, exported, or shared elsewhere. Their availability and retention within those tools are managed by Apple.

Your choices

You can revoke CDuo’s music permission in your device’s system Settings. Without permission, CDuo cannot browse your music library. There is no separate CDuo account to delete. Deleting CDuo does not cancel your Apple Music subscription or remove albums from your Apple Music account.

Contact rittermediagroup@icloud.com about personal information you sent to support, including requests to access, correct, or delete it.

Changes

Updates to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
